CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Jon Andresen
Jon is the president of Technology Solutions, a business and technology consulting firm doing business with the aviation and defense industry. The company handles general computer systems and network design, with a specialty in giving expensive airplane parts a “social security number” that identifies them from cradle to grave. Jon has been a part of four short-term mission teams to Albania and is an Elder in the Presbyterian Church.

DIRECTORS

Tony De Genner
Tony is currently a manager in systems engineering, leading electrical subsystems for the Boeing 747/767/777 airplanes. Prior to stepping into management in 2001, he was a lead design engineer in systems engineering, holding various positions in support of multiple Boeing airplane programs. Tony has a long association with Alongside and served a short-term mission in Europe.

Judy Palpant
Judy is an author, speaker, and former school teacher and missionary. In 1979 her family moved to Kenya where she and her physician husband served six years in a Quaker Mission Hospital. They founded the Africa Fund, which seeks to equip African leaders in providing healthcare. She is a Sunday School teacher and mission commission member at her church. Along with her physician husband, they are active with the Christian Medical and Dental Association.

Scott Erickson
Scott received a BA in Secondary Art Education from Western Washington University. Although he received some basic art training, most of what he does now has been self-taught in random attics and free rooms throughout the Seattle area over the last decade. Scott is the founder of the Transpire Project, a network of artists who desire to bring the making of art into public spaces.

Scott has collaborated with a number of non-profits, such as World Vision and International Justice Mission, using his art skills for advocacy and fund-raising. He has also worked with a number of musicians and has been on two nation-wide tours making art in live concert settings. Scott’s work has been exhibited throughout the Seattle area, at the Urban Artworks Gallery in Atlanta, GA, and the Chartreuse Muse Gallery in Modesto, CA. He recently relocated to Houston, Texas where he will serve as Artist in Residence at a large metropolitan church.

RobRoy Ranger
RobRoy Ranger has been working as a pastor in Redmond, Washington since 2000 and together with his wife, Jackie, have served internationally in ministry. They are the parents of two children. RobRoy has a BA degree in Communication and Administration.

RobRoy and Jackie have enjoyed a continuous interaction with Alongside Ministries International over the years including a short-term mission trip to Albania.

RobRoy seeks to create a receptive environment for teaching and mentoring followers of Jesus. He strongly affirms Christ's mission for the church - “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations" (Matt 28).

In short, RobRoy would say, “So let's 'GO' and do it together!”

Margie Gilchrist
Margie served as Executive Director for Alongside from 2004 - 2010. Prior to this, she served as North American Director for fifteen years. She was part of the Charter Board of Trustees, established in 1983, and has been actively involved in leadership of Alongside short-term projects in France, Scotland and Albania for the past twenty years. She has shared ministry with her husband, a Presbyterian pastor, for forty two years. They have three married children and five grandchildren.

Europe, an exciting opportunity where Christian workers are few. Join Alongside Ministries International and work alongside national pastors and leaders of Albania, Estonia, France or Scotland to reach people for Christ.
