Ian and Teri Rutter
Ian and Teri Rutter have been serving in France for more than 30 years. They began on French university campuses where they saw a number of students place their trust in Christ. Today, many of these same people are in leadership positions in their churches and in society.
Through their partnership with Alongside Ministries International, Ian and Teri are mentoring younger missionaries, encouraging national leaders and reaching out to un-churched people in a variety of ways. They collaborate with churches and other Christian groups.
Locally, they work together with effective programs of outreach such as Trinity Forum International, the Alpha Course, the Alpha Marriage Course, Family Life and Community Bible Study International.
Kay broweleit
As a young child Kay discovered that the love of Jesus was personally for her through the welcome and witness of a neighborhood church in Richland, Washington. She gratefully received his grace and friendship, and joyfully committed to follow him as Lord early in her life.
She is married to David and together they have three married daughters and seven grandchildren. Kay received her M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary and served in three Presbyterian U.S.A. congregations in the greater Seattle area for 30 years. She focused on children and family ministries as well as adult education and pastoral care. She retired from the PCUSA pastorate but still teaches, preaches and officiates at weddings and memorials as asked. She also serves in the “mission field” of a local school district as a substitute teacher.
Kay has been friends with Alongside Ministries since its inception in the late 1970s. In 1988-89, she welcomed a French young woman associated with AMI onto her staff as a year-long intern at University Presbyterian Church in Seattle. It was a rich experience of serving and learning alongside each other, blessing the whole congregation.

Since then he has served as a pastor in Paris, France, as well as led worship at retreats for missionaries in Europe and Africa.
Matt is married to Merideth, and they have two adult daughters. Currently, in addition to serving in a variety of ways at his local church, he is writing a series of fantasy and sci-fi novels and plays bass in a cover band.
